WOW,

I actually meant to pivot the entire engine, but to pivot it from a point near the back, but you have hit on gold there, i feel!

Engine nozzles that rotate down like the ones on the STOVL varient of the Joint Strike Fighter, but leave the bulk of the engine body still horizontal.

beautiful.

I personally don't like the wings myself. I find the angle too steep.

Monkey Boy, that's what I have in mind.
As for that aircraft, I not a fan of it. some how it's just missing the class and style of the Harrier.

@ efritsch, I terid a few other angles but none worked as well as this one.

@ All, there won't any updates this week, as a cacthing up on a few shows, that I missed since I gave up Sky. this is eating into my modeling time. but I will have updates next week.

So keep watching this space.

Hey, freak, couldn't agree with you more - the harrier may not be modern, may not be fast, may not be stealthy, but with that ****ing great intake, and the almost hunched over cockpit - I was always a fan. Austraila has committed itself to the Joint Strike Fighter - before the thing even really exists, but the way the US is going - I could see the plane being abandoned - converting the F-22 to full Bombing ability like they did with the F15 sounds like a better option (originally the F15 was not supposed to give a damn about bombing, just like they are saying about the F22 - but the F15 strike eagle turned into an excellent bomber!)

But that is off-post.

I first thought of the tilt-rotor Osprey, which has wings bent upwards - but I can't see that working here - no, they need to bend downwards.

cheers.

sorry guys No updates, just yet.

I been looking over the engines while I have had five mins to spare. they are full of error, which mean a complate rebuild is in store for them, as fixing the problems will take longer.
It's not all bad news. As the ideas I got for them having also changes form when I first built them. So this will help in that.

I have also started to but in the housing for the landing gear and want to finish that before I move back to the engines, But after a quick test, it will take longer than I first thought. so updates will be a little longer in come but will be plenty when I post the next update.

Well it been awhile as I have been caching up on some TV show namely SGA.
Anyway, I made a little start on the main body of the ships. With three different version of the same ship this means each one will be different.
So here is a pic of the biggest differences at this stage.

Tomorrow I will start on remodelling the engines. I am going to half the size as I feel they are a bit on the big size at this point. Also there are a lot of errors in there. So this will also fix that.

I want to get caught up with Atlantis. Bloody sky pulling the plug on Sky1

Looks nice Freak, those look like good options.

The more I look at it, the more I wonder, what would it look like if you altered the 'head' so that it blended smoothly with the body. The angled face looks rather awkward to me. I think something more streamlined might look better?

Visit my Endless Pluto Station project, I'm still working on it, honest!

Been working on resizing the engines so they would not be to big.
Before they where massive, this one is 25% smaller than the original one I created.
If I made it to small it did not look right and the same for it being to big, I think this fit in just right.

Again it to big to move like I originally planed however, I have come up with a way around this by placing another exhaust under the engine. This mean that the direction of the exhaust can be change with a flick on a button.

I have also moved the two “ports” that was on the top to the side and the grebbles that was on the side to the top.

And here what it looks like on the ship.

Anyway as Always please leave C&C Thanks
