mhhh....

The blue glowing part -long, light to dark blue- under where the coils are. They must not be somewhere under the hull or whatsoever.

The Sovie's, definitely. The Promie's nacelles *look* like they were ment for a smaller vessel, where as the Sovie's nacelles appear beefier and stronger and meant for a larger vessel such as a flagship would be.

cheers.

Sovvie it is. I'll Probably try to sovvieize the Promenthues nacelles on the saucer section, if that doesn't work, I'll just streamline them a bit.

Aresius.
Thanx for clarifying.

I think you should move the nacelles a bit upwards because they make the ship look like it's a little bent downward in the back. Other than that it looks really cool ! Great job

"Sovvieize"? we're just making up words all over the place...how long 'till that one makes it into the Oxford dictionary?

Hey guys, Japme here, and the saucer now has propulsion. I tried Sovviezing the Promentheus's nacelles and didn't work, nor did Sovvie nacelles. I took some old Impulse engines based on the Voyager's and did some reshaping and clean up. Here is the result.

I'd cut those windows nearest to the impulse engines cause there would be the reactors behind them. But otherwise this is one damn fine ship.

Oh, one last thing: whatever happened to the bridge? Is it completed? Or is there any more progress?

tot = gut

Bell'orso.
The bridge itself is about as far as its gonna go, except that I need to make my own control panel for the helm and all, I'm gonna try to take care of that tonight if possible. I made attempts, over the past month or so, but could not make progress, so I made the shuttlebay and started the ship itself.

Note:
Carrara (my 3D application) can not export texture coordinates for UV mapping, as a result of this almost everything is either a procedural or is flatmapped. The meshes will be given basic colors (red,white,blue...) to help those who download it to retexture it.
