While I wait for word from Sean, I am working on cleaning up the rest of the bridge and preparing it for completion.

Japme : I think a ship like the one you're designing brings such destructive potential to bear that it would be "official" regardless of what capacity it was functioning in (much like the commander of a carrier strike group or a trident missile sub in modern times). Its scary entrusting someone with so much way out somewhere where there is no backup if things fall apart. But sometimes it has to be done so you make absolutely sure you have the best possible person you can in charge.

In short, I liked the UFP crest on the console and I don't think it was at all inappropriate.

Thompson.
I'll compromise. Only the two center consoles will have the insignia on them.

Haha, my only issue with the emblem on the consoles, is that crew will hurt themselves on the projected flaring around the emblem, this first time the ship is hit and everyone does the "star trek fling" where they fly over their respective consoles!

The console looks great, actually looks like the lower portion should have a throttle quadrant on it, ripped straight out of a navy (sea) patrolboat.

I confess that I like the "cup-holder", but I think things are too busy with the armrest on the same side as the console leg - how about a folding armrest on the opposite side?

We touch, this place is so quiet, sensing that storm.

Still waiting on Sean. If any of you can contact him by other than PM, would you please do so.

Bridge Cleanup is progressing well.

I'm gonna start the underside of the saucer tonight, if I have time.

Very nice bridge Japme!
I like how you removed the rail that was in between the Captain's Chair and the Ensign's terminals

wow. That bridge looks hot. (even though very cool colours... )

What about an overhead-shot to see it all from above? (btw, are the stations on the walls with or w/o seats? Looks like last one...)

See the Shadows of Darkness, Hear the Scream of Cruelty...

Thanx guys.

Aresius.
They will have seats. Haven't heard from Sean yet, so still not sure about the floor consoles.

@Bell'Orso: No that's a cd drive

@Japme: Looking good. I don't think Sean will have an issue, after all "his" consoles are directly based on a Paramount set design. As long as it is "your" original work, even if copied directly, i dont think he will mind. if you merely modified his consoles to suit your needs, then you have to discuss it with him.

Homer.
Nice to hear from you. Thanx for the tip about the consoles. I think that I have changed them enough, so we can call them final accept for little changes that I might make.
