| Aresius. Thanx for the info. I have only seen a couple dozen TNG and Voyager episodes, so I dont know about every major battle. Yeah stellar Cartography should be farther away, but then why not just have the turbolift shots take a while to give the allusion of distance instead of actually trying to layout the full shaft system. About the hologram of the ship, I still need to decide on what class this should go on. what do you think? I was leaningtowards the galaxy, but I tried mounting the thing ontop of one that i have, and all you see is a slope and the tailend of the nacelles, so that is cuently a nogo. Ive got the excalibur, and the soveriegn classes as well, but have not triedmounting the bridge on them yet. Homer. Unfortunately, it is to late to scale the bridge down, but I can increase the size of the admirals control room. Thanx for the suggestions about the consoles. I will take a look into implementing your ideas. What period consoles would be best do you think(preTNG, TNG, postTNG)? and class? Hey I was thinking about Data and how he processes info so fast, and then I had the idea of having a holographic construct (can anyone say Cortana, from Halo) who would fill the same basic role, providing instant info for the bridge crew and admiral control room. Sound feasible? |

| Depends. Data was an anomaly, certainly not faster than the ships computer, but more tailored to fit a humans perception. So, this holographic construct would essentially be an avatar for the ships computer, programmed to respond to human vocabulary and thinking, instead of having to phrase a question that the computer would understand. It would require a talented Holo-programmer to create this "Holographic Situation (Bridge) Officer", perhaps Starfleet commissioned the project after the success of the EMH. The concept itself is not such a bad idea. As far as scaling, you most definitely should rescale it, perhaps take an existing module for a Galaxy Bridge, and build a new one from scratch using the dimensions. You should make this slightly post TNG, maybe First Contact? I think you should add a small medical bay, and keep the Stellar Cartography close to the main bridge; if its the Admirals Tactical Control Room, it needs to be close the rest of the command staff. |

| For a MSD I would take out those three stations behind the Command and since you need the door to the briefing room make the MSD a pool Table, like the one in main engineering of the Galaxy. I really like that look. I still think that you can fit two of those wall consoles into those wells of empty space to open up the bridge. |

| SFM Oracle | Well, I'd suggest something like the Excalibur or the Titan class. They're both non-canon, as your bridge is. If you need orthos of the Titan, ask me, I'll post them. The consoles should also remain in this era (post-TNG, about Nemesis and near post-Nemesis). About the Holo-Officer (let's just call it H.O.): A nice idea and due to the fact that the doctor of the Voyager once proved himself capable of handling the ship his own, even plausible. But very hard. At this era; no. About 50 years later: surely. hm, homer has a good point: It's no the stellar cartography, it's the Admirals stellar observation platform! |

| Aresius. Please, I would love take a look into the Titan being the mount for this bridge. Homer. I think I might place a medical bay above the Bridge and Directly behind the Admiral Control Center. Whisper. The Engineering Table from the D sounds neat. I think I have the Engineering room mesh somewhere and will see about whipping out a prototype, when I redo the consoles and chairs. About The AI construct, I think I will implement it, but will make it optional. Thanx for the input. |

| SFM Oracle | Here you go: Some beauty shots and the class itself. It's designated as an Enhanced Battleship, thus I think it would fit nicely. |

| Whisper. I wish the sketch i had used at the beginning was that smooth and symetric. I will see about possibly adapting my design. Can't promise anything though. Aresius. That looks like it just might work. Again Can't promise, but I see a possiblity. we'll see what happens. Here is render of the bridge with the console placement adjustments suggested by Homer. and then some other minor adjustments of my own. Thanx. |

| Whisper, that was a reply to a previous post by I believe HOMER telling me to cut back the number of consoles. I took a look last night about putting the table in, but the only way to do so would be to move the whole center of the bridge foward about 6-8 scale feet and that would cause problems at the moment. In the future I might reshape and rearrange the bridge but for now it wont work. But I might place it in the Admiral control Center. |
