Forgot that it was a hospital day today, so haven't had much time to put into this mesh, or anything else for that matter.

But;

Started work on a possible take on the upper bay. As you can see, different dish design, have added a very tiny aux-deflector - which is going to have to go - it's too small, LOL. And a take on the second set of forward launchers as well. Didn't have time to do much else, but you would be correct in assuming that some other bits and bobs will be added

As for the Aux-Deflector... I have another home for it, will sort that out at a later stage.

C&C welcome. More as and when.

I like it - although I'm glad you'll be moving the Aux Deflector!

SWEET. I personally can't wait to start writing a post-Nem story about it once its completed. Though I can't decide on a villain. The Fury from TOS/TMP, the Bluegill parasites from TNG or a Borg armada of vessels finally deciding on wholesale annihilation of the Alpha Quadrant / Earth, instead of pussyfooting around with the Federation's defenses.

not real wacky about that aux deflector design, perhaps borrowing directly from voyager, and building the aux deflector into the forward saucer might be an approach worth considering?

and, that extra set of torpedo launchers is kinda overkill for an explorer vessel.................
otherwise, great work as always.

@ Starscream - There are a few options with the Aux Deflector - including having it the upper bay, but just of a different design. After all, does it have to be "dish like?"

@ Aresius -

@ Hellsgate - Post Nemesis stories already exist about this ship, and one day I will put back onto the net the entire 5 years worth written about the USS Horizon and it's crew. They did some good stuff... some fun stuff as well... I may even go as far as to show the mesh of the vessel that destroyed the Horizon - something very original... I did promis them an animation of the final battle... an SAR gone wrong...

@ Starship - Looks less like a deflector now, LOL. Although in truth, the sensor dish is the same dish I used for the main deflector, just tweaked the shape, and cut bits out of it... works well though, and the design is in keeping...

@ XRaiderV1.7 - As I say, there are many options re the Aux-Deflector. At the moment I'm still playing with ideas... and I didn't get much in the way of time yesterday becasue of a hospital check up (another of those next week - Thursday and Friday this time, and will be away from home - so NO updates the end of next week!)
The second set of torp tubes are supposed to be primarily used as prob launchers...
And...
Given how many frigging torp tubes were added to the Ent-E after the Dominion War was over (go figure - surely it would have been best to add them during?) I figure an extra two is not a big deal in the scheme of things. You have to remember, this is not a tini-tiny ship - 15 decks not withstanding. It's still longer and more massive than Kirk's Enterprise... And I'd always planned to put some prob launchers in the upper bay Something that could be used (if need be) as a second set of torp launchers.

one of my issues is that hump on the dorsal side, doesnt do the ship any favors, and, probe launchers at their present location, just feels off, for lack of a better way of putting it.

no offense meant...............................just going where my instincts take me(trust em or don't, usually at one's own peril, lol).
