Started adding some of the name and hull markings;

Few more to go, obviously... One of the lessons I learned from doing the Ingram is that it's easier to add this stuff now then after any hull panelles/grids

More as and when.

C&C welcome - of course

its all about making the best use of the parts, and doing so in a way that doesnt impact on the crew any more than needed.
Very true matey... it's one of the reasons I like the TOS/TMP era's so much. Starfleet ships, for the most part, were very modular, and you could easily see that they they were all from the same fleet and used the same sort of parts. Makes a lot more sense than what they did in the TNG era, where every ship class has unique parts. Bit of a bugger if you loose a warp nacelle, and have to wait for a replacement.

LOL, given how long a Sovereign's nacelles are, the Wolf would look, well... it would look interesting is all I can say, but I take your point. Look at the "Frankenstien Fleet" that cropped up in DS9. How many of those ships were created just to help with the war effort?

Yeah, I could see a third nacelle on the Interceptor-Class but NOT the Wolf-Class.

It should also be noted that the particular ship I am building, the USS Horizon NCC-76176 is a DEAD ship, as it was destroyed during an encounter with a vessel of unknown origin. Weird to build it, but still...

I agree with you on the Prometheus-class Jayru, but it worked for what they wanted on screen. I love the new updates.
