I like the fourth version. But alas, the fifth version (20%+) can't be seen.

That's odd, the images open fine for me... I'll have a look at the files.

@ Aresius: I've looked at the files, and they are there on our hosting space. They open up fine for me. All I can think to suggest is that you paste this into your browser to directly view them;

Hope that helps

@ Starship et all: I wont be using the 20% bigger versions. Too far away from the vision and what I am trying to achive. And it messes up the deployable side of things too much. If I go with that size, then the nacelles will end up being in a fixed possition. It also means moving the impulse engins as well, and finding a new location for them (as I said - there are consquencies in changing the nacelles size). If I do all that, and then make the nacelles any bigger/longer (as I am sure someone will suggest I do) I may as well abandonne what I am trying to do, becasue all I'll be building then is a typical Trek ship - the same old, same old. That's not what the purpose behind the Wolf is, and it's not what I am doing with this project

I think the phrase is: "fresh minds, new ideas."

The nacelles have been increased in size - by 6%. This takes them over the proportions used by Voyager, but not so big that it moves far away from the original design. Big nacelles do not, in any case, denote lots of power (other wise Voyager and her ilk, would have been the slowest ships in the fleet, not some of the fastest). It's what's inside them that counts, and these (as you can see) are not ordinary nacelles. I have also restructered the pylons so they come out a little further then before - but that was a change that was on the books (and one of the reason why I knew the impulse engins were going to end up getting a third rebuild at some point). All this means that a: I get to keep the "look" and "feel" of my original design - and b: I don't have to hunt round the mesh frame for a new home for the impulse engins (I kind of like them being on the trailing edge of the hull - works well for me, and the design of course).

So for the time being, the nacelle design and size has been locked, so that I can move on to other parts of the mesh - such as the pylons - which are pretty much done now, although I may need to tweek a few things;

I know that many people are going to be un-happy with my decision re the nacelles. But as a few people have pointed out; it's my baby, and it's my happiness that has to come first with it. Becasue if I'm unhappy with it, why would I bother with it? All I would ask is that you bear with me on this - and wait to see the rest of the mesh develop.

I've sorted out the mesh errors with the Impulse Engines. My bad, I'd done the boolin wrong. 'Tis all sorted out now (after a rebuild). And they "sit" better on the mesh too;

C&C as always, welcome. More as and when.

A work really excellent Jayru! I will just comment on regarding the size of the naceles, but... as it was already on enough commented, I agree with their words "Fresh minds, new ideas" (and the baby is yours), continues this excellent work

Ah. Well, they look both good. The fourth version, as well as your 20%-version.

10% was too big - 20%, as stated, caused problems with the deployable side of things. 6% works, kind of a happy medium.

Started detailing work on the shuttle-bay - as this ship will only be having one of them, seemed easy enough to do!

Pretty happy with the details on this, so am locking this part of the mesh and moving on. As always for me; the detail is built in, not textured on.

Plan to start major work on the hull soon - but as I stated before, there are a few things I need to lock down first, so that a: I know where the shield grid goes, and b: so I know where everything else goes

For those interested;-

Shuttle/people to scale with the ship.

Yes, the shuttle and the "people" are to scale with each other - it's the perspective in the picture that makes it seem otherwise...

C&C welcome.
