Hi Tobian

Thanks for the lighting imput. The ambient lighting are already off and the color are black for the texturing. I did find the softeness setting level but thats all I found, I found it under Advanced Effects. Let me know what level you suggest me to use.

Heres an update of the table sorry I took so long.

I have turned of the sun light.

Tobian:

I have put in level 10 on the (Soften Diff. Edge) under Advanced Effect/Affect Surfaces.

After that I will work on AA Settings.

Ah, yes, the well known StarTrek table. Crushed by the casts throughout TNG, DS9 and Voy ...

Nice work, ready to face it's unhappy end.

Sorry Tootie32, I just don't know anything about your rendering software settings. It looks way to soft to me though. My experience is though that 'soften' settings make the render look fuzzy, which is not really what you want to do.

I suggest you make your lights a bit more powerful, and use an inverse square falloff on them, so they are hot, and create very bright spots, but fall off naturally.

Visit my Endless Pluto Station project, I'm still working on it, honest!

Well I don't really see any falloff settings in the lights.

Well if theres someone in this forum who knows max and lightwave well that could help us out that would be great.

Still much of the light settings I still don't know how to use in order to get the lighting.
