| Moderator With Rocks In | Ebolii - sorry mate, the base colour is set to 212:172:99 (RGB) (#d4ac63), though is definitely subject to change if I feel it needs it. It is more orangey than it appears in the render - there's a blue cast to the render that I'll be neutralising from here on in. I'll also kill the directional light until it is time to test spec on it. |

| Moderator With Rocks In | Cheers. This is a bit of a nothing update; just plodding through increasing texture coverage... most of the Galor is now mapped, still have the Keldon bits to deal with. The panel effect is still the same as before, so you can still barely see that I have killed the blue colour cast in the GI, and killed off the directional light for the time being, so you can get a much truer impression of the colouring now. |

| Moderator With Rocks In | heh - barely looks any different from before Nah, I'm just finding this phase of the work very boring (I'm really not a texture person... at least not a setting up textures person). Things should be better once I can sit down and actually work on the maps properly - not too far away now fortunately |

| That looks like a pretty much spot-on color base for your textures. It's gonna look great when you add the rust and grunge and decals and so forth. |

I have just been working extremely slowly on this lately... anyway, I'm making some decent progress on her again now, so here's a shot of how the textures are coming along with the orangey gradients. Still need to fiddle with intensities but overall I'm pretty pleased with it I think. It's certainly not the final appearance - there are grunge and dirt layers to go yet |
