That tail section is looking really good fella but right on the very tips of the two prongs I cant tell if its a mesh error or wierd shadowing. Cant see it too clearly on the images I think its what Tobian mentioned in an earlier post. Looks awesome though mate

Highlight the bit you mean and I'll check it out...

Ditto, but never mind, that looks very nice! Sweet detailing!

Visit my Endless Pluto Station project, I'm still working on it, honest!

Ive highlighted the bit that stands out most to me its probably just the angle or a wierd looking shadow. Not sure if its where Tobian was talking about too. Theres sort of a similar effect on the other side but not as bad.

OK, those bits at the end have a glass material applied to them, so you're actually seeing through to the contour of the cutout - look closely and you'll see the shape matches what you can see on the opposite side.

I do see what tobian is talking about now though - because the light covers are inset and have a bigger rounding radius than on the hull itself, there is a slight wobble when the glass meets the hull. When it's textured you won't be able to see it unless you get really close so I'm not concerned about that at all - there are definitely no mesh/smoothing errors in that area though as far as I can tell

Well, it's here - not as interesting as yesterday's unfortunately, but I didn't quite have the same frenetic energy for it as I did yesterday either (plus I had to spend the morning begging to scrape together enough money to fill the car up ) Anyway, the detailing for this bit of superstructure is now sorted The upper hull surface around it looks rather... plain and boring, doesn't it?

Yes, it's the curse of detailed modelling - adding them makes everything else look horribly empty of detail!

Looking cracking though, good stuff!

I´m with Tobian here. A bit empty around the superstructure, but I´m sure you´ll solve that soon.
It´s the best Galor I ever seen.
