I think I will finish off the texturing, then move on to the thruster affects..

Do you have an idea, how the thruster should look like? I've worked on my effect for several days and it's nearly finished. If you us 3ds max, I would gladly like to share it with you.

Anyways, great project! I love the fighter.

Actually Shadowman we are in the begining stages of our comic so we are open to all suggestions, I would love to see it!

I'm currently uploading the file (I haven't compressed my videos yet, so they're pretty big). Here are also 2 still images, that show the engine working:

I'll send you the link to the video later, my FTP programm goes crazy, it uploads the file unlimited times, every time overwriting the last file. Dunno what goes wrong here.

Thats pretty good and I thank you very much for your odder in helping me.....but I am actually trying for the Thruster affect that was used on babylon 5.

But if i cant get that affect down, then I would love your help on this....thanks again.

hey shadowman those engine burns do look really nice!and Im actually intersted in knowing the mechanics of animating those burns as well.

This is what I have so far as a start for the Retractable Forward Swoop Wings.....I will be adding the Wings later, I still want to get the folding Device down first.

Now are you making it so that the canards can rotate forward and backward as well?
And by the way after seeing the model, I think you should do a full render and show off that landing gear you have going. I have to admit they are extremley well done.
