| Okay, I've waded in with a couple of comments on Kborak's mig145, so I might as well fire a comment or two your way as well, since it appears to be a joint effort (collaboration) I absolutely *love* the scaloping in the fuselage at the sides of the canopy, the improved view etc. The new canopy looks great, but the previous had a stronger look. The original had echo's of an F-14's canopy, where as this looks very FW-109 from WWII, but my chief concern with *both* the original *and* this new thinner framed canopy, is that the front face still seems a little too abrupt; the angle is too sharp. With all the organic curve and smooth surfaces and long nose, this canopy angle sticks out like a VW bug windscreen, IMHO the front panel's angle needs to be shallower, sloping furthet forward. To be honest, you claim that the engines were modelled on the F/A-37s from the movie Stealth, well I think this bird looks better than the ones they used! Cheers. |
