The light blue on top of the nacelle buzzards might look good, not too much , that's something to experiment with

Even if it's unfinished...it's still a beautiful ship. I saw one torpedo bay....and I don't see the other two.

Ummmm....on second thought....found them....but on the secondary deck near the deflector dish?

Torps read the thread I think I covered this here.

bleh I hate cutting on curves. Especially round things on curves. I do not have enough polies or too many to cut cleanly. So it is a fight between acceptable oddities. So far with creative loops I managed to oust most of them. I think a few exist if you get like 5" from those red cuts near the torp launcher.
What sucks too is this area isn't too visible >_<;'
Anyhow not much done since I have spent the last day or so fabbing new parts for my RC habit.
The nozzles on the back are borderline if they will stay that way, not too pleased with the look of the guts inside the circles. Keep in mind some distortion is from the back being a separate object. Keeping it cut out of the main hull for now as it saves annoyances.
I am a bit disappointed in this area as well since I wanted something a bit more rounded and protruding, but it just looked funky in 3d. Goes to show mental image and 2d image doesn't always translate to 3d lol. Maybe if I brought the surfaces further out and did a crapload of chamfering of the corners it would work. But considering everything I think the sleeker shapes keep the clutter down. Like those nacelles orz clutter all over.

BLEGH guess for the sample I could have filled the screen more. I will have slotted vents in those dark areas or some crud or other.

Here are the hoop thingies. Got a few edges to turn in the blue stuff. I am not sure I want to redo those black vents. I sorta like the square shape vs the rounded ends I drew on that doodle a few posts back. Shrug.

AND BLEAHHHH I gots texture warping. lol everything needs new UVWs and higher rez spec maps.

And a extra, Orginaly ment to be just a regular sample and went this route. I know about arguments about atmosphere and colour hues but beh. (too much fill for the scene too but thats WIP lighting there ;p)
