my first replicator from stargate sg1

hey
I've just started to use 3ds max and i only created a few model.
Those were for example an apple, and a low poly and simple house.
So I think this model is good enough to upload a picture.
I'd like to know what do you think about this
and I repeat: I am absolutely beginner.

sorry for my english

well that Spider is mainly created by a single block, so ya I think you can do it.
Just build it like you would with legos.

The best way to learn is to throw your self in head first

Welcome to the forums The model looks pretty cool and original Apply a texture to the segments and add some details and it will be even better

Fitter, Happier And More Productive ...

Welcome to the forums You'll get better as you make more models or try out more features of 3ds max, because thats how I got better as well. As much as I hate the replicators, your model looks pretty good especially if it's one of your first models. Good work

some links you should look at:

http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3...o-posting.html

http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/g...ead-first.html

Also cinema 4d demo is prolly pretty limited, either by features or time. From what I've seen the best free 3d app out there is Blender.
