Nice design. Are those blue areas on the "pods" windows?

The only crit I have is that, IMO, it's too symmetrical. That may be me, though...I'm more attracted to assymetrical designs (the Honorverse ships notwithstanding - I'm interpreting someone else's idea(s)).

I would change the bottom half (or top), but that's just me.

Otherwise, excellent design.

Max Symmetry

Thanx MaxxRush, I know exactly what you are getting at. This ship is just one of the many that I am creating for a short film of mine. The thought process behind the symmetry is that, in space, there is no real "up and down" If you look closely, the Command and Control pods on the left and right are parallel to the plane that the ship is being viewed at, but the runway (running along the center of the ship from aft to stern" is perpendicular. It will be a really cool scene when it is complete. Cool and slightly disorienting.

It will be a while before it is completed but a neat concept I think.

Thanx

whoa! Nice design. I hope to see more.

Allthough it looks cool, isn't it a little dangerous to leave all the engines/turbines unprotected?

Well, the main thing is it looks great^^

Okay...now that I know what's what, that's pretty cool. I understand your "no up in space", but again that leads me to the assymetry issue. Most planetbound vehicles are symmetric because they need to be aerodynamic (or hydrodynamic for boats), so I would expect a bit more assymetry in a no-atmospher/no gravity environment.

But hey, it's your design, and it looks cool no matter what. Better than anything I could come up with for an original design. Kudos.
