Sweet model, Deg3d!

Hopefully you haven't already answered this one, but are you planning to add an Aztec texture to this model?

Yes Jedilaw, I will be adding full hull-plating maps, including Aztec patterns for the saucer. However, I will be striving to make them a tad more random than examples I have seen thus far, as in real life, there would not be much, if at all, of a discernible repetitive pattern.

I think the panels on the underside of the secondary hull look a little busy, but the underside of the saucer is just spot on. Really great work.

Thanks dude.

I hear ya about the belly PLs, and I may tinker with it a bit more (I believe I am going to bin the center line). It's all about finding a panel line balance to work with the original belly graphics. Two things I don't want to change (too much); the graphics, other than font and slight lay-down position of the name across the top of the main hull, and her iconic profile, which I won't change at all.

Maybe you could add a few circuit breakers to the bridge control consoles, those suckers are always blowing up...

BTW, I was pretty amazed when I got Sculpting a Galaxy and saw the actual details on the bottom of Slave I...you out-greebled ILM by a pretty good margin, man!

Thanks guys, and thanks for the nice words about my Slave 1 too Jedilaw.

I keep meaning to get around to getting that book too...

Phase 8_Detailing

The saucer lower sensor array is done. Reduced the amount of panel lines on the bottom of the secondary hull and also added secondary hull phaser banks and retros...

One Word.

FANTASTIC!

Love the matching name and registration curve, always disliked the contrasting straight and curved.
