Sweet interior dude I don't really like the old enterprise (*runs for cover* ) but you're doing a great job. Are you going to model more interiors or just the hangar bay ?

There's something that I love so much about hangar bays... I don't know what it is. Maybe because it's a link to something familiar from real life, that saucer sections and warp nacelles don't have.

That looks really good so far. My only question is rather unimportant, but wasn't there a different version of the Federation flag during TOS?

Not sure JeffrySG... probably after E is done, as I try to stick to finishing one project before starting another (I try to anywho, as I find it helps me in actually completing stuff), but shuttle fancy could strike me at any time eh.

I know there was a red UFP hanging banner, but that is the only flag emblem that I am aware of... that does not mean there is not another though, I just do not know of it.

Well, back on her, rebuilt all the observation booths as the scale was off to my scale-dude, added some detailing overall, and I think that about does it (for the most part for now anywho) for the shuttlebay...

looks great but just one tiny nitpick, the graphics on the monitors are from TMP era, not TOS era. They look good though and of course everything else does as well.

Sure sure, could be passage to a hard dock Road Warrior, why not...? Would have to add a port on the exterior though. We'll see...

Just keep at it eric, that's the simple of how it's done eh.

Actually, my E is not going to be a redesign/re-envisioning Lonewriter, but she is going to be an upgrade, kind of a TOS E.5, shall we say. No major line changes at all, just technical detailing refits. I do like the chic-y 60's style to a point and have kept some of it (com-panels, etc.), but will modernize where I feel I'd like to.

UFP logo is TMP tos had the stars with 2 heads and that "banner" looking one it is seen as a decal in one of the films. The flag being a banner the seal being the 2 faces with the starmap for the heads.

for anyones ref. keep in mind some are extrapolations etc of basic canon shapes IE some of them add shadows metalic efx and other "stuff"

Love the control panels oddly it fits the ship.

Well, since I can't stand gold, and the rest are too garish or badly designed IMO, I'm stickin' with the one I am using as it is my fav, and I have it (the circa 2290) flag hanging in the back-yard.



On another note, it's funny, for my biz's official font, I use a Microgramma, and I just noticed that the Trek font (this one anywho) is actually that same one. Big surprise I ended up choosing it without knowing that. It's a cool font though. I do notice that the 1's serif is too long though, at least when I was looking at the cargo door labels. I would imagine it's the same everywhere else. I'll see when I get to 1701.

Use l or I over the 1 in the font. It is mentioned in a few of the books.
