AH, easy-pesy, good to know eh. I ended up rasterizing the type and chopping the serif off in Photoshop. Your way is much better eh, thanks dude.

Thanks Chanur.

Man I'll tell ya, the scale logistics on and around the bay are fubar. Finally got the observation tower scaled proper to my scale-dude. That does it for interior modeling. The rest will be done with light boxes and maps...

Also updated my previous pic posts to reflect the tower update, and a coupla other things...

Looks great deg. How do you plan on cutting in the warp grill area on the nacelle? Also, could you post a wireframe of your nacelle? I'd be interested to know what it looks like.

Thanks dude.

As I didn't care for the pattern from the BPs (too "busy" IMO), I made up a new pattern and stenciled it in Pix.

More detailing of the nacelles. Just have to redo/update the "ball" on the back, as I have never liked that piece of detailing as is, but I feel it lends itself to creating some nice detail w/out changing the concept of it.

Looks great Deg. I get mesh errors on my Enterprise where I cut in the notch for the nacelle grills. What I mean, is the sunken area that the grills sit in, not the grills themselves. I'll have to post a image to explain what I mean, perhaps.

I was just wondering how you went about it.

Thanks dude.

Oh I know exactly what you are talking about Pix. The area is prone to smoothing/mesh errors once the curved cut is cut into the already curved surface. Make sure your surface smoothing angle is low enough and that will take care of most of it. I still have a very small one, but that will be hidden by the time painting comes.

I did try a version where I split up the forward curved poly of the indent, but that has it drawbacks too as it creates two sharps edge in that area at the two outermost splits, when in fact it's smooth in that area.

You can also try a cut through the circumference of the nacelle close to the indent.
