Your planet looks great so far! You need to add some atmosphere along the edge of the planet though. As for the clouds looking transparent did you check your settings to make sure they aren't set to be transparent? Or are you using an alpha chanel for the clouds and the portion of the alpha channel for the clouds isn't pure white? Is your cloud layer pure white? Good work so far,

Okay so, I've got more of the planet finished. Just looking to tweak the spec on the water a bit more as it appears a tad fuzzy.

I think I'm getting close to calling it done- at least for the time being. Although I do need to make a city lights map. It's at a point to where I can use it for most shots and stuff and I think I'll move on to the next planet.

I think your clouds have too much bump and the color of the water is a little too light, but the résult is great

I am not using a bump on the clouds. What you are seeing is probably the shadow being cast onto the ground.

I think the water looks fine as is. I mean, it's not Earth, so why should it be just like it?

Thanks for your attention

Don't be afraid to try out shallow seas & oceans. That'll give you more flexiblity.

Sometimes the worst opponent is the one closest, yet ignorant of the truth.

Is that directed at me? I do have shallow seas on this planet but they are not entirely visible. Well there are some shallow coastal areas visible.
