Well I dont know how anything about texturing works, but i would try to do it systematicaly. First give everything a Metallic looking because the ship is made of it (well if u want u can do a wooden ship too....nah dont think that would look good xD). Afterwards i would make some of the details randomly darker to make some differents. and then i would try out lots of colours on different places, but they shouldnt be that randomly it has to make sense in a way xD. One tipp= The aurora ships are quite old. i think a look with rust and well looking iron. the Ancients were in trouble i dont think they realy cared about how the ship was painted! I would do it for myself if i had a programm for it(i want a freeware xD) and i'm also a pretty noob in programming in any direction. I'm just interested in it atm xD.

Id be interested in giving the texturing a go; PM me, and ill try and work it out

@auroracalssfan: The replicators (asurans) built many Aurora-class ships, and while they probably didnt care too much how it looked, they didnt look particularly old.

@ Homerpalooza67: Well of course. I thought about the old ships like the Orion. and the Asurians didn't use any colour at all. their ships are metallic only. thats boring xD.

Hope some1 will finish that beautyful ship soon! it would be sad if the ship wouldn't get finished

Send a message via AIM to Dallidas
The orion was nearly completely destroyed, thats why it didnt have any color. The entire hull was stripped.

@ Dallidas: Are we talkin about the same ship? in the german version the orion was nearly complete(well ok the hull was complete), the Aurora was an destroyed ship drifting through the galaxy. The aurora was nearly destroyed. The orion the ship that was destroyed when the Wraith tryed to attack the earth. well and as much as i have seen from the orion i always thought she had some kind of red colour and i thought it could be rust.
