David what a wonderful ship you built!
One of the best Aurora class ships I've ever seen!

AL your the man for getting the color right!

With all this functional ability to build various classes of battlestars it's a shame that the same can't be said about the ANCIENT Aurora class ship!
Thats a model begging to be modded into various WIPS!

yes alec does a lot of work with the 3d aspects of stargate, i do believe that is an actual screenshot btw, since he is showing off the work he does (3d lead etc) on each shot in that gallery. if you read anything of the blogs/interviews with some of the producers/directors they mention alec quite frequently.

Great work Davide ! Can't wait to see the beast in action (on some screens) once you're finished with the color correction. It was well worth the wait

I like both, David's, and Al3d's paint schemes for the ship. What I think it is, is that in space, you could actually barely see these ships, unless they were in a star system. You'd be able to see them, but it'd be VERY dark. BSG captures this to a point of where it is accurate, but not so dark as to be so dark, you squint at the screen and say, "WTF is that?"

Thank you all for comments and suggestions.
I've started the bridge modelling, but unfornately it's my first indoor scene, so i used very bad light .
Later i'll try a new render of the entire ship with different brown color.

Good start.
If you put some things in there, making the general bridge, at a distance it'll look VERY good.
