I've done a little change in the colour of textures. I've used a darker gray and dark brown. I haven't changed the lights value. What do you think?

other test: i've used the old gray material, and i've modify the brown color. I think it's look much better.

remove ALL blue in your metal color. and the red-brown is still a bit to saturated

It may be a crude way to do it but I usually turn the texture to greyscale under image->mode->greyscale and then I turn on the RGB again.

Here you go. i simply use the "level" fonction to do a proper color grading. in Photoshop.
