are you using a spec and diffuse map as well?..

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

the reason it looks flat right now i think is the lack of spec and diffuse.

What software are you using?

i'm using 3ds max 9. As you can see in the two texture files, that are the same file, using two different colour. The rust effect is the same; i've done the bump and specular map of rust effect. Now i've chenge the specular map: later i'll update with new pics.
i'm using uvw mapping.
