I'm thinking less about making a whole stand out of jade, but some jewels inlaid into it, make it nice an ornamental. Perhaps a similar texture but more white marble-like as a surface for the stand to be on, the grey of my generic background dome can get a little boring.

A very quick attempt at making three different ones. It's nothing more than copying and playing about with the geometry of the original, but they will need more work.

Very Nice! Very Nice Indeed!!
I have to say that this is probably the best, most original, lightsaber design I have seen in quite sometime. You have done an excellent job blending the traditional look of the Japanese Katana and futuristic "Star Wars"-esque lightsaber hilt. Well Done!

Just a thought, and a little off the path you are taking..
Have you considered making it possible to join the two smaller straight hilts together into a single 'darth maul' type double edged sabre?

Sweet work!

Monkey's idea's also very good. I suggest to have it the way that the spikes are on opposing sides then.

See the Shadows of Darkness, Hear the Scream of Cruelty...

As the medium sized hilt didn't come out as well as I hoped (remembering that this was just a quick rearrangement of existing geometry :P) I was thinking of alternatives. It would certainly be nice to combine two straight ones into a double-saber that can split, with a medium sized one and small sized one combining. My other idea was to give the medium sized hilt a slight bend so that it resembled the larger one more.

...both perhaps?

What in the name of "Zatoichi Kenobi" is this..... Hmmm, very nice. You can kill some "biiiiig rats" with that thing. Great job Armondikov, .
