the drydock still needs a lot of work I just hate working on it so much that it's going very slow.

WOAH would hate to see the energy bills for that thing. Just skimmed through the thread so im not too sure but scale wise im assuming those side stations are similar in size to the Starbase 173 variant?

I don't know about starbase 173 but you can compare with the fact that the side domes are exactly the size and shape of the upper dome of the mushroom shaped earth spacedock...

Anyway here is some more of the upper section.

I love it, can't wait to see it textured. One question, what is this part for? Also I would love to know the exact dimensions of the station.

Cool design! One suggestion: I'd make those two trenches that run around the main structure thinner, similar to what you had in the original model. I feel that having thin trenches--which are actually quite wide, but thin relative to the rest of the base--help convey the sense of scale.

Again, cool design!

Hi,

It's been a couple of weeks - started a new job so didn't find the time to model...

Anyway, I started working on the pylons for the landing pads. Had a thought of making the pads not all landing but one pad for hydroponics bay and one pad for science observatory - what do you think? need one more pad idea... any thoughts?

well look who is finally back, I thought the earth went and swallowed you, welcome back!!! I have missed this project.

I like the idea of a hydroponics bay, you would think a station this size would have one. I'd love to have the number of decks this station has. Once again, it's good to see your back.
