chrono - didn't quite get it... Do you want the new hatches to be bigger or smaller.
They're hatches for starships so it's only logical that starships would be able to fit
Actually if the spacedoors on the side-domes are 2600 in size these hatches are 3000 so they're even bigger than the spacedoors which is good because they're hatches for the middle section which is more crouded and bigger inside.

Decided to do them after all since the lower section looks naked without it. I'm not sure about the shape yet but this is what I've got so far

Not to sure about the relief logo (mainly it being in relief, rather than the actual design)... looks a bit... vast The letters must be 20m thick almost.

Well, I don't know... they're aren't the major support for the main structure so I don't know if there's a reason for them to be thicker.

Huntaer - if the original is the one you like, enjoy!

I made a complete station render to see if the drydocks position and size is good - looks fine to me but I am interested in your opinion too.
As for the drydocks themselfs it's been suggested to go on the Nemesis type drydocks, maybe I'll modify them a bit - does anyone have some blueprints for them?

I like the positioning. If I make a suggestion... Why not try having 4 of them (the other two dry docks perpendicular to the two on the picture)? I assume from the name, and the fact that it's a refit, that it's suppose to be a heavy station which can help repair a good few ships at a time, so it'd make sense (at least to me). The more repairs it can get done, the quicker the feddies can get back into the fight, or back to the deep space research.
