BC-304 Daedalus WIP

Hi,

here I will show my SGA Daedalus model. I work on it maybe a half year but I have made some other models and scenes in that time. But it takes very long because I started with 3d and Cinema 4d just one year ago. The mesh is finished but I will create a texture now. If you have some tipps I will be very lucky^^. Here are some informations about the Moddel:

created with: Cinema 4d 9.6
polys: 1.300.000

But here are the pics

i'd like to see the textures before i comment anything. altough i have to say that the panels look a bit overdone, too much protruding. that might be just me, tough.

1 300 000 polys ?!
I think the panels will look good once the texture is applied but the model is very nice !

I will post a pic form the botton of the ship soon. There are a lot of details too. Another reason for so many polys is the hangar. It is the oldest part of the ship and itīs moddeld very "noob like"^^ But the newer parts of the ship like the bringe and the deck are not so high poly because of the better moddelingstile.
Some other reason for the polys are the planels and the little details.

@startrekfan001 Yes on some places they are too "high" but the structure of the Daedalus is very proturding....

@SolCommand thanks I will do my best by creating the texture. I will UV-Map the big parts and then I want to create a metalltexture with a very weak panel look.
