| Ok, so its been a long time since I updated this thread... I've finally managed to get some modeling done in LW... Tho to be honest, parts of this ship I do not like. And parts are going to be even harder to model... for me anyway. I have no backstory for this ship. The section I started on for this ship was the rear engine section, mainly to play with greebles. But then I ended up building the rest of it. Picture 1 is Front-to-Rear. There is a section near the rear, which can be seen in Picture 3, where I'm thinking of putting a loading ramp or something. The ring, right at the front of the ship, I'm going to be making into a turret. The role of this ship, I'm thinking will be that of an escort ship. Possibly. | Ok, so seeing some of the recent greeble threads, I'm impressed, so I've started on some greeble thingies myself. I'm mainly testing stuff. Trying to improve my modeling skills atm. One day, my texture skills too. HAH Anywayz, opinions welcome . |

| Ok, new ship design. Or tho I've come up with a similar design in the past, I wanted to add to the "fleet". Pictures of the other design are on my other computer which I can't use atm. Well, anyway, heres the picie, C&C v.welcome. :P |

| Cool stuff!! Just browsed this thread, and I have to say your designs are definitely improving. Keep up the good work bro! I really like that last one too! Might wanna add something a bit more solid, but the strings are a cool concept. |

| ok, so going back a couple of steps. I did sketch this out on paper, but I can't use my scanner atm (buried under a mountain of... err, stuff), so I "made" in photoshop, grid lines to help me plan out the rough shape of it. general shape stayed the same, tho bits did change. On the 2nd image, there are bits missing. I'm getting tired, so I ain't gonna say anything else tonight. Enjoy, C&C welcome. |
