Lord Erisus' WIP Dump Thread

Ok, I thought, instead of making a single thread for a single wip. I'd make one for multiple wips. I always seem to be starting on new wips, and never finishing old ones. So instead of making multiple threads for a few pictures, I'll just dump everything into the same thread, for your opinions, and such.

Ok, first set of images, current model I'm working on. I'm not sure what class of ship it is. But I'm calling it a gunship for the moment. I'll render a better view of the bridge later on. Its only a small ship. in the third image, You can just about see a bay for a shuttle craft. This ship will have the ability to land on a planet.

Also, I know about the problem with the front turrets. That will be sorted out soon.

Ok, couple updates. First image, engine work. Second image, loading ramps+some PD Weapons. I should really put something in to give an idea of the size of this thing.

Ramp is a bout 12m wide. Could prolly load up a couple of tanks too.

Well, C&C Welcome.

Wow, thank you Ducky. I certainly wasn't expecting a comment like that.

Okey Dokey, I haven't really had the time to do some more work on the gunboat/ship/whatever it is, cuz of work, and gym. And lack of ideas. I think that this one will be mainly for destroying small ships, such as fighters and stuff. I was tryin' to do some animation work on the turrets. But unfortunately, I lack the knowledge to do what I want to achieve with it. It'll have a high rate of fire.

Anyway, here is a slightly older mesh (err, about a couple weeks, no more than a month), I've done a lil more work on it since I took these renders, but only adding a few more guns to the nose, and working on the bridge. Thats the upper middle section. Also, on the 3rd image, on the right hand side, there are some "balcony" type things. Those are for anyone in spacesuits to get down easilly to the "lower" hull. I'll try and render a better shot tomorrow. I got-ta goto work now.

Oh yeah, the battleship, is actually based on a carrier design that I've had going on and off for a couple of years now. So there might be some people who reconise basic shape. :P
