how about the Klingon Raptor from the Ent episode, "Sleeping Dogs" I liked that one.
Thanks As far as I remember you already said the statement about Enterprise in our earlier discussions Now that I have the actual model of Conestoga I can tell you that it looks even better than the NX01 in many angles - it just looks more like a possible starship ...
And about the Raptor, no problem, I will start doing it right away. I really liked that design too and it will be a pleasure to make one.

Thank you Well, as traq said it wouldn't be the same ship, but I know what you mean. It wouldn't be as pretty without the nacelles but it's definately cooler than "our" old space shuttles and rockets

awesome modeling, somacruz.
Heheh I already "cleared" that up Well, basically the nacelles could even be still there in the real starship but our race still doesn't have warp drive so they would be useless
Thanks for the good feedback.

More updates coming today (though for many of you it will be night at the same time). I hope to finish the Conestoga and start doing the Klingon Raptor.

Ok I finished the Conestoga. I decided not to model the windows from the front because the gold material is already acting really weird because of the different polygon angles in that part. Hopefully that doesn't take away much of the "prettyness" of the ship

And the standard grey paint version :

Coming up next, the complete view of 4 of my "golden" ships and the Raptor. Stay tuned

I like your models, but I don't like the warp delta or the Conestoga. I'm looking forward to the Raptor, too bad it only had one appearance. What are you planning to make after that?

Haha I hope that people will invent some kind of implants that will remember stuff for you (well if that big meteorite doesn't end up killing every human on Earth in 2019 ...)

Thanks Honestly the Warp Delta and Conestoga are my favourite ships but we can't argue about each other's preferences, can we ?
After I finish the Raptor (I think that it will be ready by tuesday if everything goes well) I don't have any actual plans for the ships. If you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me them. I will gladly make any ship from the Enterprise.

hey, have you tried any renders with "more stuff" and/or "darker colors" for your golden texture to reflect? I think that might add some depth and realism to the finish. The parts above that reflect other parts look great, but the surfaces that don't have any reflections look kinda fake.

vulcan ships

hey,
have you ever thought about doing any of the Vulcan ships from the ENT era? I think there are two main designs, both with rings in the middle: I thought they were really cool. Just a thought.
Great rendering so far by the way- I love the ENT era ships!

Done and done Just look below ... the Conestoga you see here is just a part of the bigger picture (which already was posted earlier)

Ok. After I do the Raptor, I will try to do a Vulcan ship. To tell you the truth I didn't even try making them earlier because I was afraid of the smooth surfaces But that's not the factor right now. I think I will start with the "easier" one which was seen in the episode where Enterprise found a comet with a huge amount of ... ah I don't remember
