And coming up ...

I know it looks stupid
I flipped the ship so you can see bottom details. Once that's finished, everything's finished
I also added final details to the "top" but I forgot to render the other views and it's already too late for me to come back to it ...

Oh I'm just coming to take your life
But seriously I'm going to visit my aunt and cousin. I've never visited them (although they visit us frequently) and I guess it would be nice to see how's Germany like

Well, I missed a lot of smaller details on the bottom but I want to do another ship so I'll leave it as it is. If you say it's nice then it should be good enough

Thank you I know it can be better but I don't have enough patience to do the textures

Looks like I'm not going this week ... is the delay the surprise you're talking about ? My dad's decision was a pretty big surprise

Thanks Can I see your model ? I want to know if you're telling the truth
Anyway, the model is pretty much finished so here's the "golden" version :

I don't know why but some of the reflections look a bit off. I think I will have to work a bit on that ...

Sure...LINK
Yours is much more accurate though. Mine was made back in the old days when I was still working in bryce.

As far as reflections go, I don't see any. If you are trying to make it look more like gold, try doing some research into HDRI lighting.

Details looking good so far.

I remember that pic I saw it some time ago and I thought that it may be your model but I thought that it was on some other site.
Your Raptor looks really good - I don't think it's worse than mine because it has textures and some details that I haven't included in my mesh.
When it comes to reflections, they actually are there but the geometry of the ship doesn't help in showing them off. You can see some on the wing's base where it reflects the structure in the back and in the (first picture) back of the "head" where the back angled plates reflect the nacelle.
If you have any good tutorials for setting up HDRI then I would be really grateful
Thanks for the help anyway.

Ok Raptor is pretty much finished so I'm moving on to another project. This one's for mattwitz. The Surak class ship from Ent's Fallen Hero (It's not the one from "Breaking the Ice" because mine will be colored brown )

To say the truth it's just a bunch of tapered cylinders but you'll like it
