Glad you like it. Here is a small update. Progress is severely slowed because mental ray is giving me fits. For some reason some cloned geometry is using more memory than it should because of some error. I have to delete newly created objects if they cause the render to abort. ![]() anyway, onto the pics! ![]()

Very, very impressive. I can't wait to see it with some ships docked in there. Keep up the good work.

Thx guys! I might have an update later tonight or tomorrow. Haven't gotten any work done because I had an art show (photography). Took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in separate categories. also, I'm thinking about doing some interior work in a separate file. That way I can light it the way I want to, and that will give me more polys to work with. Just depends on what Raynor wants whether it happens now, or later.

well... I have good news and bad news. Good news is I think I have tracked down the source of the problem. The bad news is that it was probably the main bay central area.... the area I've just spent all this time on. so I'm sort of back to square one on that part, but no problems. at least now it should work slightly better. Hopefully the errors won't return and I can actually get some work done. anyway... Last progress before deleting the part.. ![]() and where I am currently on the rebuild.
