no I love the scale, keep it as is! Gives it a bit of mystery how something so huge could remain undetected for so long.

I don't think it is especialy big. Take space elevators, ringworlds, dyson spheres... It looks big only when compared with Atlantis, but I think that Atlantis is just too small for legendary capital city of ancient race of gatebuilders, time travelers etc.

agreed. Limited FX budget anyone? I don't dislike Atlantis, I just think I would like it better if it were on Valhalla's scale...

I know its sweat equity and a labor of love for him, but to get that level of quality workmanship in a commercial release, somebody would have to pay a lot.

If by sweat equity, and labor of love you mean the energy I spend hitting one of my macro keys to render and getting myself a sandwich then yes, there is a lot.

I appreciate the complement, but right now my stuff is nowhere near the level of a professional (thats why I'm still in college ) In the same amount of time I've been working on this project, the guys on stargate's effects team would have done a seasons worth of shots. each of which look a lot better than mine.

That's an amazing piece of work. Give yourself more credit
Would you mind to tell me where you got those textures for the station? Did you make them yourself or did you get it from a particular reference site?
