| lol. yep it's right in the center. never really said it was hidden. It just blends in well. ![]() and the holes in the towers are just to replicate the circle motif of the beliskner's main section. I decided to make them open so that they didn't look like giant tombstones. lol. I was thinking of some kind of bridge structure that would stretch between the two towers in the circles. not sure if I will yet. I suppose they could be supergates of a sort. or docks for a massive class of ship that hasn't been seen yet. hmmmmm.......... ![]() |

| by my rough calculations, assuming the beliskner is 1088m long(only length I could find), the tallest obelisk in the "city" is 6233m. The two main towers are 14,845m without the fiddly little antenna at the tops, and 15,894m with. ![]() for a little perspective, the tallest tower in the world right now is 509m. That makes the main two towers just about twice the elevation of Mount Everest. bending reality a bit. yep, but the man wanted big...so I gave him big. |

This definitely dwarfs Atlantis. In fact, Atlantis would actually fit inside the circle openings. ![]() damn that's pretty big.......... | |

| truth be told, it was probably because the human tech (ships anyway) was starting to be on the same level as the asgard ships, the replicators are gone, at least in this galaxy, and the storyline was moving away from asgard involvement anyway, so the writers probably just wanted them to go out with a bang(figuratively, and literally) rather than a whimper of anonymity as they were slowly written out more and more. Plus it tied up one of the story arcs to make way for future ones (oh sweet irony). |

| SFM Nugget | I think writers mostly wanted something big for series finale, something like "the circle is full now". It's true that they were being slowly written off, but the Asgards still had so much storyline potential, and the fact that SGC (or Earth, if you want) is now on the same technology level doesn't necessary mean that there is no place for two such races, in main story I mean. |

| who knows... and it may not be the end. keep in mind that the next series (if it ever actually comes about) is supposed to deal with alternate realities or something along those lines. they may be back. ![]() plus there are the story elements that will be in Stargate Worlds. |
