The only thing I personally dont like is the towers just sticking straight out by themselves. They seem kind of random.

I can see where you are coming from. I kind of like them that way though. They draw the eyes, and are reminiscent of the obelisk from Thor's Hammer. At least to me. I think though that if I were to take them out, it would like like something was missing.

anyway, small update. I actually modeled one of the options from my photoshop to see what it looks like, and I'm really starting to like it.

another update. Worked on integrating all the new bits to the old bits. Greeble, and in places stand-in greeble to be replaced later have been worked on.

Enjoy.

Getting better and better with each post.

One question, are you planning to redo the detail between the two Thor Hammers? Somehow i think they reduce the overall impressive details you have. Quite distracting from the overall details you have.

Thanks for the good words!

as for the city...well...yes and no. lol.

It doesn't look to great right now, but I believe that when I finally get a chance to texture, that it will help. Thousands of tiny windows and dark shadows will help to hide and emphasize the existing geometry.

Besides, if it looks like crap, and I can stand the extra several thousand polys, I'll just redo it. Look at it this way. Everytime I've had to make a major backstep thus far, the results have been better for it.
