Yeah, the arm socket point that attaches to the body needs some adjusting, but I dont have any high res angles of that area. It doesnt have to be 100% accurate to me.... just as long as the rigging of the parts looks right when they start to move.

Heres a little animation I put together. Its nothing special. Just a basic test. I still have to figure out how im going to correctly line up the track system with the ground to make it look like its moving properly.

Video is Divx 480x360

After I model his legs, it will be texturing time.

that very cool, but I saw a problem with the hand turning toward the end. it the hand closest to us. It looks like you where going for a 360 turn, but it goes all over the place.

Yes, the hand issue was a keyframe error I made. Very simple to fix. I didnt have much time to set up a professional looking animation. It actually took 15 hours to render on my slow machine (P4 1.4Ghz, 768 RAM) using GI (FinalRender Stage-3). The next one I make will have just standard lighting for faster rendering.

And if WALL-E actually turns out to be awesome once its finished, ill probably make Eve as well.

Update. This is a simple animation showing him transforming. Now I have to do the legs/tracks the same way so they can tuck up under him, and the rigging should be done.
