The Towers have successfully been converted to Hydra emplacements

Also i'm really happy with the first images perspective. I may try and recreate it when i've finished the Mars as a wallpaper.

Hangar Bay implants for the main hull! Smaller update than usual though.

More blocking out of the hull. I need an idea just what I got myself into before I continue with the ultra-level detail! (not really, I just began to hate only seeing half a hull as I worked.)

Imagine "insanely huge", then double it and you'll be close to what 40K capital ships are like...

Good progress. The stupidly large cannon on the front is great.

@ S.W.Ninja: And this is one of the "good guys" capital ships. (good guys is a relative term considering there are times when Nazi Germany looks positively humanitarian in comparison.)
Also for an Idea of scale if I didn't mention it before. The final size of the vessel is in the vicinity of 3 kilometres. (In fact the Nova cannon probably increases this by another half kilometre.)

@Armondikov: Thanks matey, I may do a Chaos warship after this

BUT!

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE... Again.... (Images 29 through 31)

A tiny bit more blocking out with the assembly of the dorsal cathedral underway. (Awaiting the accompyaning Archway bridges flanking it and the weapon emplacements in the "Cathedral Wings" to complement the main batteries. (The will likely by Warlord to Emperor Titan weapons. The sort ONLY Warlords and Emperors can carry, the sort that level cities like the DoW: Winter Assault Hellstorm Cannon)

Someone mentioned on another forum. (I beleive Spacebattles) that according to the book Execution Hour (or one of its series) that the Mars Class primary weapons weren't Macro-cannons but Laser Batteries (Entirely different from Lance Batteries)

As such i've replaced the Primaries with the Hellstorm cannon from DoW WA.

As well as put a set of Hellstorm Turrets in the topside "cathedral" it has an extremely low turn arc but when your engagement ranges is in the dozens to tens of thousands of kilometres *and more Lightsecond ranges is mentioned in the books more than once* then a large turning arc isn't required for accuracy.

Well here is an update.... again

This time following a suggestion from someone on a different forum.

This facilitated the installation of a further 12 Hydra batteries (Six to a side) Six Volcano Cannons (Three to a side, Large Laser Cannon) and a set of "trenches".
