Oh, and should I ever finish the Thunderhawk we'll have to put those two side by side :P
LOL, or you could just make a 2-polygon model for it

I think the Thunderhawk is a bit bigger than that , it could fit snuggly into one of the bays.

@DominusAstra: If you ask nicely enough i'll upload it to the downloads section When it's finished anyway.

@Armodkiov: Thanks, I fear there are more weapons to come, but these are primarily ack ack so nothing overly large to go. (Except maybe the Turrets on the wings) And i'd love to put em in a decent pic together mate, get cracking! (Even if Imperial Navy vessels don't traditionally carry Thunderhawks without the Inquisition being involved.)

@kborak: Thanks, now pick up that jaw, it's dirtying my carpet!

@FlamingPhoenix7: Thankyou matey, I figured it was about time someone did what i'm doing, figured it may as well be me. And common opinion seems to be that i've seriously done it justice so far. (This behemoth is being posted on about eight forums by me )

Anyway, UPDATE!. Just more of the blocking out, just the ventral blocking out to go alone with some minor "blocks" elsewhere.

Thanks matey

An update of all things.
Blocking out is complete and the Lance Cannon is about 75% done.

Lovin' it. But not lovin' the segmentation on the barrels of the cannons. And what program are you using??

3ds Max, the segmentation is simple, I haven't added a "smooth" modifier to it!.

UPDATE: Some of the hull "detailing" has been done. Minor Buttresses (not flying buttresses as you can see) Though some detail MAY eventually end up between them (RCS Thrusters, icons etc.)

Smoothing on the Lances dealt with. (Possibly just a temporary fix though.)

Looking absolutely amazing so far! Just finished a lazy day playing Warhammer 40K: Firewarrior, and I noticed something odd about the model they used in the cut scenes. If you look at the launch bays, they're actually flush with the hull rather than being angled. I grabbed a screen of the model just in case you wanted a look.
