Although I'm not into Warhammer, I have to say, I like the look of those ships.

Still, would be better than a 40K size battleship. if those are around 3km long fluff-wise, that would result in a 60-something meter model

Would be cool though!
Actually Standard Cruisers are 3km long. Battleships are 5-10 kilometres.

3km long? At least right now, the flying buttresses and other "gothic cathedral" type features make it seem to be approximately a few hundred meters.
Making it appear to scale is extremely difficult. In fact the only way i'd really be able to demonstrate it would be in an animation that zoomed out from, say, someone on the bridge.

You KNOW you want to. Starting at Jas' marine and flying outward.

LOL.

I think having things textured and adding in stuff for reference would help the viewer get a better sense of scale. As I said b4, the visual hints we have so far tend to imply something much smaller. Without reading any of the WH40k materials, just by looking at ship models, etc. I would have guessed that most of the ships were in the hundreds of meters...

Dude, this looks brilliant. Not sure why you're using heavy bolters mind, given that everything other than fighters is also 3 km long.

Look on the bright side, I can't get any worse!

A bit of an update on one of the "wings" adorning the bridge. Ideas are still wanted/welcome.

Very cool! Those make for some nice opportunities for scale-reference detailing. Y'know like large stained glass windows and such.
