Nice work, but they aren't grenade launchers, they're more like land mines

Heh, .. Its easy to miss something when you're staring at the same model for hours, ... I wondered what those things were on the front when I was looking at some Refs ... So they're Land Mines are they ? .... some confirmation on that detail would be good .... Taking shape very nicely mate .... ![]() Jas

I'm pretty sure they're grenade launchers, at least they act like grenade launchers in the rules. Taking a Crusader basically allows you to charge Terminators using grenade rules, although I suspect that "in reality" they act more like mounted claymores that fire of just before the doors open.

| Hmmm I think you're refering to what's just the 'extra armour' guys. It's mdeled to resemble a 40K version of ablative or reactive armour. the grenade launchers are just what they are, grenade launchers resembling current day smoke launchers on tanks. | While I would looove to stay all day debating what those fiddly bits of metal are (:P), I have some stuff to finish. Do I go the whole hog and do the insides too? I did paint it on the minature but since I glued it together, it seems like a waste. |

The painted model looks good !! .... The front door opens on the minature doesn't it ? .... As for the CG version, depends on what you plan to do with it once its done, ... but personally id go the whole hog to leave all possible options for using it open ... Depends how much time you want to put into it ..... Jas
