Hey Jack,
Glad to see the work you are doing...Look forward to more from Protector.

I was wondering, where the Auxiliary Control was on the Legacy Class...I mean, that if you lose the Main Bridge, you would want a back up facility.

When the battle lines are drawn, and the enemy engaged,
pledging your loyalty may mean laying down your life...

hey all thanks for all your comments.
yes we pee out the windows, its simple and we save room on the ship that way.

as for aux control room, idk, sure its in there somewhere, if i get around to makeing a low poly deck layouts, be sure to be there to keep me on my toes.

as for updates, i did the hatches today.

first render here is a bit dark but uses only radiosity to light it.

second is a bit closer up.

HOLY CRAP!!! Those look awsome!!!!

Would you need an auxilery control or a battle bridge? I can't remember if the saucer seperates.

i actually prolly could put even more detail into the hatch there. ideas are a keypad to open the door from the outside manually. be it a simple box or an actual pad with buttons, not sure, and there should be a red ring that goes around the hatch doors, and maybe some warnings somewhere there.

or, "Caution! no bathrooms beyond this point."

worked a bit on the pylons today.

oh, and i hope everyone knows what STRBRD means. the other side of the ship says PORT. hehe. i would have written the whole word but it wouldn't fit.

to bad al3d's travel pod is in Lightwave, it would look great docked in that hatch.
