I've always wondered why names like "Navajo", "Mandela" or "Ecclesiastes" or something impressive yet steering away somewhat from a bravo fleet battle-centric name, has never been applied to a (Federation/Starfleet) Trek vessel. Lastly, the "U.S.S. Enterprise-F" has already been taken by the Century-Class mesh.

ah, the Century class looks nice, but is no way near what the F should be like. in my opinion.
but neither is the legacy. the legacy is a nice ship, dont get me wrong, but she is no flag ship. tho close in size to the Ent-E as seen above, she is more of a science wessel in my mind. she dose have some nice weapons tho.

Galen could sheild more like on this, as the designer.

ok, here she is, more updates, and i think you all might like this one.

added some holes to pee into space out of, just encase one wants to amuse themselves while going at warp. and the shield grid is now done, well on that part of the ship anyway.

lowered the file size of the images, so they should load a bit faster for those of you who have slower DL rates.

enjoy.

its basically a heavy explorer, with options for diplomatic missions.

hence its title as a diplomatic explorer

And when the day arrives, i'll become the sky
And i'll become the sea and the sea will come to kiss me. For I am going home

nothing can stop me now

technically the sovereign class is better. if ya read the fluff text on the legacy.
i could put Enterprise on the main decal on the top of the saucer for ****s and giggles. but honestly, there are just to many places where the name and number of the ship is on the mesh to warent putting them all on. i may do up a few for the legacy class specific names, like the protector, serenity, and cadence. etc.

glad you like it lonewriter. hehe.
he asks the same question about every new ship. I don't know what his deal is with the Enterprise F?

so that's what the astronauts have been doing on the space station

love the updates. just one crit, the ship name and registry are reversed on the life pod hatches.

I think i just wet myself lol. Backstory of this ship worked out by Kaden and Myself as we are both the designers:

The Legacy class starship was developed as a Enhanced Explorer with the option of being used specifically as a Diplomatic ship. Thus her outfit reflects that of her mission. She is not as heavily armed as the Sovereigns, but her shields are stronger thanks to the auxiliary shield systems installed. To add to her defense, the ship carriers 3 Orcus class fighters which are stored at the aft shuttlebay, which explains it size.

All this is off my memory of what was written a year ago. Got to go find the text files for it.

I'd love to have that since I'm using the Legacy as the USS Phoenix in my story.

The Legacy-class Enterprise-F is first design by Galen on StarTrek-Online.net though I think I did asked him if the next Enterprise will be a Legacy-class vessel after the E-E decomissioned. It would be a perfect example for J. J. Abrams' Series VI Project if he developing a Trek series(if STXI is a success) taking place 10-20 years after Voyager.lol

It's already looking realy good. Are you planning to put interiors behind all the windows or just some... or not bother at all?

I didn't know JJAbrams was thinking about a series, or is this just wishful thinking?
