I think...I grabbed all these images for my hard-drive...!

I like your detailing work, and the nacelles are great. I like your choice to have the pylons thin out towards the nacelles - that is very interesting, though I wonder how structurally sound it would be. The lower "bulge" of the saucer seems a bit anemic to me. Your texture mapping looks awesome, and I like your impulse housing. The top of the saucer is excellent.

I agree with CL: that lower bulge on the saucer seems a bit weird, and the blue bussards don't really do it for me. That being said, it's a really impressive model, and your texturing is quite amazing. Well done!

The only thing I'm concerned with is the sapphire blue lighting on the nacelles. That's a strictly TMP/TNG thing. In TOS the bussards were red and gold, and the engines themselves solid tubes. Now, I can see updating the engines to be cooler lookin' ... but I'd avoid the sapphire color.

After all, you did mention that part of the challenge in the redesign was to not infringe on the new stuff and thus draw the ire (and cease & desist orders) from Paramount. I seem to recall them wiggin' about the drone launcher on the neck being too much like the TMP torpedo tubes, for example.

I'm not saying ditch the colored sections, I'm just suggesting a different color. Perhaps hearkening back to the red/gold that they used in TOS?

Otherwise, cool stuff. I remember playing SFB way back when, and I loved tossing an X-ship into the mix from time to time to mess with people's heads. If nothing else, the sheer battery of phasers they all carry was enough to make people shiver!

Really nice lines on it. As Sanderlee mentioned the blue seems a bit too future-tech for the era, but I think the blue certainly looks beautiful.

Look great. My only nitpick would be the warps should be a little higher above the sacer section in the front pic. The sacer is blocking the bussards ability to do those special fire from the warp engine tricks .
