Also the rear turrets are capable of firing directly behind the ship and there is a set of rear CIWS covering the engine exhausts from Heat Seaking missiles. Thanks for your comments though mate

There is some wisdom in launchers facing in all directions, if realworld physics is applied, then if all the launchers are placed on the top deck, then to target an enemy in front of you, the missile first has to cancel it's delta V vertically after launch then accellerate forwards to the target. Tubes facing in all directions gives the option to use the initial boost from launch in the direction of the target, and all of the missiles fuel is used to accellerate to that target, none of it has to be used to stop the missile going one way before heading the other.

However you would be indanger of hedgehogging your ship with spherical coverage of launchers, and it would look less cool.

Great work so far, I'm loving this project: The marine hatch at the rear of the superstructure is a particularly nice touch!

Cheers,

looking good, I think it could use some of those launchers in the sides in the "cracks" between the top and bottom hull. Would make a nice broadside, hehe

Wow, they are heavy duty forward topredos!
You are not going to have a lot of room inside for reloads though.

But, I do like 'em.

There actually a bit mis guiding size wise, as the actual tube diameter is the same as the vertical missile tubes. Im planning to maybe do an interior for this once the exterior is done to so its going to be fun fitting it all in.
