| HMS Escort Okay so I had this design inspiration over the weekend for a light attack cruiser design for the Royal Star Navy. Ive blocked out the basic plan and layout and started to detail the engine section. This is perhaps the biggest WIP project ive ever undertaken so Comments and Ideas are extremely welcome. |

| SFM Guru | nice, like the missle launchers in front of the bridge the door open is a nice touch! If you have ever played starlancer it reminds me of the first carrier you are assigned to, with the ribbed hull and similar shape. |

| I agree, it actually feels kinda like a more advanved version of an old 'ironclad' battleship from the american civil war looking at top deck. Yet I couldn't help tinking of the space cruiser that launched the nuclear missiles at the 'evil' in the fifth element when looking at the engines. Perhaps with a little bit of Typhoon submarine thrown in too. |

| @Monkey Boy & Armondikov. Thats exactly the feel im trying to go for, its sort of my impression of what our first warships in space would actually look like. Problem is its a theme im trying to keep and plenty of parts that ive made have been binned because they just didnt fit right I think its going to be a long process of trial and error .Thanks for ya comments all please keep em coming and suggestions too im always open for those. More updates later today. |
