You would be correct that Bullpup magazines are more to the rear of a rifle butt stock, an normally they are not Carbines. FN firearms company who made the FN P90 submachine Gun also made another Bullpup design called the FN F2000 , which is a Carbine Bullpup Rifle that uses the 5.56 Bullet.
As for the overheating problem with Bullpup rifles, FN has over come that problem with the FN2000

Below are some pictures of the P90 and the F2000!!!

IMO on the Main Rifle, have the railing system all the way around the heat shield of the barrel, More adaptable that way.

Looks like a good start.

Someone said that the M14 was a carbine. No the M1, not the Garand, was a carbine. The M14 was a fullsize rifle. The Mini14 is a carbine.

The M1 Garand was a semi automatic, teh M16 is a singal or burst fire (although i think they have given it automatic as well, the M14 was kinda an updated version of the M1... The M4 is the Carbine... This help and i will look at changing the Rail system on the front of the Rifle... Comments on the P90 type Weapon?

Nice start on the Federation Caseless P90 style weapon. But I would look at both the FN P90 and the F2000 pics that I posted on your thread to get a better idea on what direction want to go with your design.

I will be one of the members her SFM that will continue to follow this project till it is completed, keep up the good work!!!

A slight update, i have rethought the grip, so now it is more like a pistol grip, the second hand holds the front of the purple bit..., i think that on the second grip will have a number of controls for the sight, change of spectrum, night vision, IR, UV ect...
