Not much of an update, but I now added the details to the cockpit canopy. The Glass has a 60% reflection to it with a brown colour. This is to make it similar to the texture that Meph did for the Aries Fighter that I gave him. If I model the inside of the cockpit, I will change this to have some transparency to it as well.

I just need to add windows to the rear cockpit. I have also started to add details to the engines and hoping to have that done this week. I am also looking to add some details to the area that where not panelled.

As always please leave C&C.

That's a nice colour for your cockpit, this thing is surely turning into quite the beauty. For the unpaneled area, I wouldn't add that much extra stuff with any kind of greebling or extruded details. I feel it's much of a nice curve between hull and wing to break up the fluent line. he'es a quickie idea, why not add some sensor lenzes(y'know like night-sight, zoom lenz etc) and/or headlights behind a glass panel? That way you add some visual interest to the area without messing up teh smoothness and it also gives some nice toys for the co-pilot/bombardier to play with

Thanks Meph that not a bad idea.
I'll see what I can do, but it will have to wait untill I have finished what I am currently doing on the engines.

Here is a sneak peak of what to come on the engine details.
I still to do the inside, but I would say I am 1/3 done in this area.

As always please leave C&C thanks

Nice panels on the engines, but perhaps emphasize the transition bewteen hull/paneling and engine a bit more.

I have done more details on the inner engine, but it not sitting right with me.
I am thinking of doing something similar as the Aries fighter.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks

for some reason they don't look very.....engine like. What kind of propulsion is it? Perhaps look at modern fighters engines. Could also add vectored thrust nozzles.

great work on the panelling though

Unhappy Man This SUCKS!!

Thanks for the input.

Well I got some bad news, As I was working on this, this morning my laptop crashed. I have tired to recover it, however, this did not work. So I am having to reformate the HD and reinstall Windows and everything else. As I did not have any back files saved else where, everything is now lost. So I will now have to spend the next few days putting everything back onto the Laptop. Once that is done I will start to rebuild this fighter.

Once this is done I can start rebuilding it.
Luckey I do have a copy of the Aries Fighter saved to my home PC, I will be doing back of files on that tonight, so that does not go missing.
