blender Th&b: Fighter 2

I have started work on my second fighter for my Universe: To Hell and Beyond.
(Some of the chapters can be found in the writer’s area, but I am thinking of starting over again.)

This is a different Class to the Aries Fighter (My other fighter) that I have created, it is form the same company, and this is why they look similar.

I have knocked out the basic shape, I think this will fighter will be long Range will the Aries is a short rang fighter.
I was not happy with the noise as it looked to short; this is why it has been extended.
I have also done the wings in a more traditional way; however I have kept the winglets.

I have also started to do the panels, starting on the noise. I have not yet got far enough to show anything yet so no render of that.

Anyway as always please leave C&C thanks

I have panels the front of the noise, but I am having issue with the area around the lower intake think.

Does anyone have any Idea of what I should do there?
I will be next moving on to redo the cockpit. Based on a suggestion by Meph over at 3dScifi.

Anyway as always please leave C&C, Thanks

looks quite good so far, but I don't really like the canopy, it looks out of place with the rest of the design. The fighter is really smooth but the canopy is really boxy. Nice incorporation of paneling into a smooth design too, thats not easy. I think the obvious solution would be to have the panel go around the intake. Could you post a wireframe? Or if possible even better a screencap of the shaded model with poly edges showing.

Thanks,

I am redo the canopy, and changing part of the ship, which I think will suit it.

I should be able to post a wire frame this afternoon for you to see.

As Requested here is a wire Frame of the noise area.

I have also made a rear cockpit on the advice of Meph.
The pic show it open and closed and also what the ship would look like with out it.

Last here is the new shape of the main Cockpit, tell me what you think.

As always please leave C&C thanks.

I like the new cockpit, the engine intakes and where the wing meets the fuselage could be a bit more defined though. Great work so far Freak.

Keep smiling , It makes people wonder what your up to..

Thanks LR
Those areas will get shaped out and more defined as go alone with the panels.

Looks good, you might consider some canards near the nose, looks a little like a viper at the moment.
