Thanks Jack

As I understand it C3PO was very heavily influenced by the robot from the 1927 movie Metropolis

Great updates Wiz!

I know it's a little late but as far as how to go about this I think I'd do what you said... I'd do a low res entire body to get the proportions exact, and then start to build out each of the sections over the low res body just as they are built in the real costume. Then you could go in and create the few sections that you see underneath the hard parts, like on the stomach and the elbows, etc. There might be a few sections that would be easier to build together and then split them later. I think this method would keep you from building all the parts only to realize later that your proportions are off! and have to go in and do a lot of rebuilds.

Anyway, I know you'll do a great job no matter how you go about it!

@kborak:
Thanks mate, and welcome

@JeffreySG
Yeah sounds the way to go for sure
Thanks for the advice buddy, gonna need as much help as I can get with this one

Here a little update, finished the side extrusions on the back of the head, that was a pain to get right, still some tweaks to do and shaping, but will do for now, and the next bit is the inlets around the front of the head (away I go again)
