good work candva you're getting there i know you've had many problems with the engines but as you can see this ship is taking shape now you should try adding more guns aa and primaries alike as well as several missile tubes for both conventional and nukes perhaps as these are added to the model new concepts will arise to improve on the engines

WIP's are like rabbits, pretty soon you have more than you can handle. OK I have gone back and started again, I think my main hang-up in the last design was it didn't look BSG so, with all the comments from the forum I took the design I was doing and refined it. Still want the basic idea of a ship designed to be more destroyer/battleship than carrier. Come on with the comments

Thanks aylaa12, here is an update. This one is going along alot better now that it has a BSG vibe. I will still be adding the top flight deck some time and working my way back to my favorate part...engines.

More stuff, need to do more detailing (lots), temporary piping to the engines, mock gun locations, and still need to add landing bay opening thru the spine. I like the engines because the shapes actually turned out for me (yeah!)

It look alittle out of balance to me, maybe with the landing bays it will look more FUNGschway.

Thanks aylaa12, I like this one much better.

docprice: I see what your saying about the balance, I've struggled back and forth with the proportions. I am going for a battlestar that is not a carrier so it won't have any flight pods only a small strip in the spine. Unfortunately it does make it look malformed.
